what is an AMR?
The key word is 'autonomous' applied to navigation: unlike an AGV, which follows a marked line, the AMR decides its path with a technique called SLAM and reconfigures with no construction when the warehouse changes. That difference, with costs and scenarios, is developed in AMR vs. AGV.
AMRs live mostly in warehouse robotics: collaborative picking fleets, goods-to-person and load transport. To choose a specific model, our warehouse-AMR comparison puts them side by side.
